Anybody here done the swap in a Canadian car ???

I am currently finalizing my Hybrid Racing wire harness and they say in their manual :
"24 . If you are running a Canadian model EG/DC cut C101 pin 14"

If I'm right C101 is the big grey connector near the ECU on the right side of the dash coming from my K engine harness, which is plugged to a connector that goes to the driver side. And at pin 14 there are 2 YEL/BLK wires.

I just wanna make sure I really need to cut those 2 wires in my canadian body, and that I got the correct connector and wires.

I was afraid to cut those since I've seen Qfactor tell this to a similar case :

your other problem is cutting pin 14 @C-101 YEL/BLK this is power for injectors,ECU,IAC valve, cmp, ckp and main relay#2.
so it contradicts what's in the instructions... and it's 2 big YEL/BLK wires
I'm confused...

Sent a email to Will, David and Russ at HR, waiting for news...

Tried to crank it tonight, pump is priming right, but if I turn the key to start, nothing more happens, except my radio gets black until I release the key. Nothing seems to go farther.

I got the car started a little later by leaving the key to ON (pos II) and plugging the starter straight to the battery for cranking. Engine is running great, adjusted fuel pressure, everything looks fine. But cannot start from key  nothing happens when I turn it

Yeah I'm from Quebec, Canada, and my car too

It may depends on your swap and harness, I used a 2004 RSX-S engine + tranny + wiring, and I got Hybrid Racing harness

In the instructions they tell to cut C101 pin 14, which I found was 2 big YEL/BLK wires. I've seen on a forum it was the power for injectors, main relay, fuel piump, etc... So not really knowing, I asked Will @ HR a few times, the best answer I got was that it was related to DRL (Daytime Running Lights), which I deactivated few years ago (removed the fuse)

So finally I was not willing to cut, I left it as if my car was US, and everything is fine, no problem, car feeling great

Thanks sick, thats what i was first going to do cuse i have a 92 four door but had no interior. I found the comp stock 94 vx hatch for 500 so end up going that way. But back to that thing look like im going to get under my dash and wire that back together. That part of the hybrid directions confused me forever. thanks
