K20a2 bored to 87mm. Do I need block guard? I am installing wiseco 87mm 10.2.1 compression and engine it’s fully built. Looking to handle 500-650 whp

* also what turbo and fuel system do you guys recommend for my setup?

It's hard to definitively say that you will NEED a block guard. They definitely have benefits though, stiffening up the cylinders and preventing them from moving, particularly with big power and high engine speeds. If/when I build a K24, I would consider going to a closed deck a no-brainer and cheap insurance.

I was always under the impression not to go to 87 mm on a stock sleeve in a 2.0 block especially in a turbo/nitrous application. That being said, you could always get a cylinder support system for it. It might help stretch the longevity out of it.

Budget and application will better dictate turbo selection.
