Has anyone taken their k series to the track and used true racing slicks on their a2 w/ an open diff? Or any k series at that. I am just trying to see if I can run slicks at the track and get the times I would like to get but not destroy my open diff. Any comments?

i made many passess all ready on 22x8.0x13's... that would be perfect for a stock motor...

If you mean a track as in a circuit. You better make sure you have a baffled sump.

okay, im talking about "the strip" not the track. so a 22/8/15 would be a good tire size? I cannot run a wheel smaller than a 15".

can you elaborate on what you have done to the car? tuning, header what your launching at, etc... fastest trap my car ever had on street tires (not drag radials) was 99. somthing. 109 is pretty high, but i guess if your getting traction you will get going faster.
