Does anyone even know that the swap has been done or the some idea that some one wants to do the k20a swap into a 85-87 civic? Brian G, any mount kits in the pipeline for the 85-87 civic?

I wish it was my car, but it isn't.. Found it on the net somewhere.. K seems to fit the AS/AF/AH very nicely...

My AS (now B-powered) might receive such an engine in the near future .

Allgo, thanks for the help. It's a bit funny cos that's my car with the k20a in it. The previous owner had the engine in there but not mounted or running, he took it out and sold the chassis to my twin brother and I. We're running a b16a atm running 13.4's all motor.

Im up in Brisbane. Those plates belong to the previous owner in NSW. We'll be running at Jamboree in September. Won't be heading to Sydney to race till next year some time.

Driveshafts are jdm integra xsi. They were shortened and resplined to fit the 85 civic hubs i believe. Would like to see the progress on the swap. Haven't seen another car with the swap yet.

it looks like there would be some clearance issues with the brake master cyclinder, if it were installed.

Just got the half cut. The engine should be in the bay in the next couple of weeks. We'll have to relocate the master cylinder for clearance. Can't wait. Updates as we go. Here's a pic of the motor :up:
