Can enyone tell me if the sump form the B16_b engine will fit the K20a engine do they have the same bolt pattern? Reason for the question is that i need to fit a dry sump pan to our engine and can only find one for the B16 engine the Formula 3 sump pan so will it fit?
Second question we have a K20 engine curretly it is the UK spec engine same as the US spec unit it has K20a2 on the block does anyone know what the more powerful japanese spec engine would say some on said it was called the K20c correct? Whats the differance in part no's and internaly?

K-series and B-series are no where near having interchangablility in parts.

k20a not c, is the JDM type R.

Ok to get everything clear you mean oil pan?

I just told you the code K20a, nothing else JUST K20A.

F20c is from the S2000, the H22a is from the Prelude.

I'm not so sure about UK k-series equipped Honda's.

Anyway, about the oil pan, heres a B16s

Thanks for the photos they are differant that rules that out. My last chance for a dry sump oil pan is the S2000 engine there is one designed for that would it fit the K20a engine is the bolt pattern the same do you know?

The f-series from the S2000 the oil pan wont fit .

How about trying a k20 oil pan lol?

A k24's oil would work.

Thanks for all the help. Looks like we will have to design and make a dry sump oil pan our self. Not many K20 engines are racing on the circuits yet so there are no sumps available that is why i have been trying to find others that will fit that i know dry sump pan exist for.
