I have a link here from e-bay selling a accord type-r motor.I am very interested since the company selling the front clip is 15 min away from in jersey.What are the stats on this motor and would it make a good swap in a ek

The heading says "JDM HONDA ACCORD RSX CIVIC TYPE R FRONT CLIP - K20A" which is a bit confusing, but the Accord Euro R engine is 215hp standard with slightly less torque (about 2lb ft or something) than the JDM DC5R, according to the Best Motoring DVD I bought but didn't pay enough attention to.

i know for sure its not from a rsx, looks like the engine is crushed in a bit, Nice find, id give him 4000 cash take it or leave it

That is a k20a out of a japanese Accord euro R. The tranny most likely will not work with the mounts that are out for the ek,eg etc..

Also it might be using throttle by wire so you would need to swap that too.

That same company in the past has listed k24a swaps and trying to sell them as tsx JDM or something that doesn;t exist...

In other words... I would be careful buying this.

take a picture of an rsx tranny mount location if it dont looks the same then the mount kits wont work,

I scrap the idea on this motor i have a new idea.Anyone know if the k24 block will work with the mounts.I know the k24 engine bolts right in a ep3/or rsx since the mount locations are the same.Will it fit in a crx though with the mounts being produced.
