know anyone looking for a k20 type S..i have an extra one?
just paint it red

1.)Strip old paint off with Aircraft Remover
2.)Stand and clean the surface
3.)Mask off all areas that you don't want painted (oil cap hole, spark plug holes...)
4.)Use a high temp primer (Duplicolor, VHT, Plasticote) and give the valve cover a few coats of primer (I did 2 or 3 coats)
5.)Use a wrinkle paint (I used either Duplicolor or Plasticote, I can't remember) and apply as instructed on the can. For best results use a hair dryer or do it out in the hot sun to help wrinkle/cure the paint.
You can buy the paints at Pep Boys or Autozone. *Prepping the surface is the most important part of the process. If you do not spend a lot of time on this, the paint will crack, chip, or just plain turn out looking like shit if you do not do it properly
