alright. im saved up fpr a k20 motor. and i found a mint 97 civic ex, 5 spd for only $1500. now, can anyone tell me what are the major problems installing them into the 96-00 civics? what all do i need besides the hasport mounts? sorry, im a newb and i am reading every little post and the VERY FIRST POST IN THIS THREAD. cuz i need to know how much am i really going to need to spend on the parts. so, everything in that PDF, thats all i need then basically?

yes, the pdf file talks about most things.


You will still need to buy a fuel rail, and fuel lines +fittings. A wiring harness to make your stock gauges work with the ECU and a header.

That;s it.

on top of your swap you will buy, you have to spent anywhere from $2000-$3000 extra on the mounts, header, axles, wiring harness, fuel stuff, shifter +cables and little things that might be missing from your swap.
