K20 Gear Ratios?

Thanks you guys, what about the base k20a? im trying to figure out if its worth starting from a base model k20a or a k20a-r? because i want the tranny from the k20a-r, unless you guys have a better idea. I was also thinking to just get the gears and have them put in.

i figured as much, cause the builder was gonna get a base model k20 than build it, but i figured that i wont be getting the tranny, unless he gets it seperately.....would you know how to tell the difference in tranny's?
