I was wondering if anyone has tried putting a k20a2 crank in a k24 block and then add the k20a2 head? wouldn't this give you the best of both worlds....torque AND revs?!?!

p.s. - anyone know what the rod length of a k24 is?

Torque and revs, nope not the best of both worlds, it loses the stroke.

99mm stroke causes that super fast piston speeds at low rpm. + the 2.4 is whats making that torque.

K20's crank wont work.

K24a2 (TSX) has a 7100 red line. SCCA' RTR has a 7500 redline with rods and pistons. Payntech's k24 is being used at 8k and I think it has the a1's crank.

The more you build it the higher it can be taken this is 2004 possiblities are greater

You'd get revs, most of the torque benefit comes from the stroke which you're not using. You would get a little torque increase due to better rod stroke ratio.
