not to sound like i know it all, but increasing the t/b size wont gain any power at all. doug from hondata and a few people i know have the spoon and they say they didnt feel anything, and the dyno showed no gain( its not the t/b that is restrictive).
unless ur motor is tuned up pretty well, then it might make a difference. as for spending that amount of money on a intake part, try get the dc5r intake manifold.

as much as i can say i doesnt help and u show me info to say it does, this aint gonna come to an end. cos its just gonna go back and forth. i can only stick to my guns on what ive heard and seen.

at the hondata seminar in london when doug was here, he asked the dc5 jdm itr whether the spoon throttle body helped at all. he said no, and then doug went on to saying that it aint restrictive.
as for the k20a and k20a2, is there a difference in t/b size?
and do you know which engine was in the lotus?
plus, i think that the 50cm straight velocity stack made a difference in the flow rate into the intake.

its too hard to say, but its your money and your call

IM porting on the k should work really well. especially cos the honda finish aint the greatest. as for doin the work, should be a piece of piss. cos of the way u can just open up the i/m with a socket set and not a die grinder. :p
