that statment is only there to passify that nice man from Protohype raving so that he can sell is 'velocity stack' intake (ie. long ali tube with a filter on the end)

Take it from me, I have tryed just about every combination of intake, and they make squat difference, the plenum is the restriction, not the TB or ahead of it.

tip1: take the TB off and measure the matching hole in the plenum, how big is it?

Tip2: How big are the intake runners in the plenum?
