Mugen RR bumper

Mugen RR bumper
from ebay.
shipd via stupid freight.
came with fancy fog lights.
fits good.
its made of a dif plastic than the oem bumper.

more engine

got the oil pump bolted on.
oil pump chain on.
more doodads.
put the head on with new OE headgasket
... all while the baby slept....








anyone know what T fitting I need for this oil pressure fitting

bought some gaskets.
baffle
crv bracket
oil pressure fitting
bumper supports :fuuu:
and some doodads

i have much more time this coming week. will be sanding down the car getting it ready for proper paint treatment,.
motor is almost ready to install.

FA5 cluster and clutch

the ghetto way.
popped out the LED light for
VSA ! and airbags
forgot about ABS and seatbelt
i thought about ditching this whole thing for a large tach, mold it into the cluster pocket.

had to take it off the engine stand to get the clutch on

working on the spare headlight. making an intake.
il fiberglass it.
the whole is the highbeam.
il polish the cover so it can still be useful and functional.

Mastering both...you are really of human kind :wink:? These elder is a good time, they sleep so a great amount of the day. Mine is 10, they won't sleep and her princess altitude need some motivation to get helpful work delegate. At every elder they give you specific challenges .

getting car sanded totaly down for paint.
making carbon fiber plates to block off foglight lights on the mugen bumper.
all this sanding...:thud:
fixed oil leak. valve cover gasket was pinched.
changed spark plugs

thank you sir. trying my best to get this "done" if that means anything. before winter. something decent and new looking to be enjoyed for a good solid year or 2 before another motor/paint/major parts etc

was tired of fiddling with wrenches to take off the serpentine belt.
so i made this.
cut a 14mm impact socket to be shallow.
bout some bar stock $6. and welded it.


got this can for coolant. capped the bottom.
the plastic one was missing one day...ran it over as it fell out probably. :lolface:





ordered cams. then this whole motor should get put together and swapped in. just need time.....i have very little of it. might have to pull all nighters soon to get stuff done

cams should be here today...then i can get this whole thing buttoned up with a valve cover and timing chain cover on. ..then swap it...:nod:

need to get ktuned upper coolant part. maybe an extra aluminum oil pan, cuz i cant use the steel one aparantly cuz of the bottom motor mount AND the pan doesnt fit with the baffle installed.

other than that. its ready to be swapped.....

ive had my kids so no work.
i spend time with them when i can :alone:

sounds dumb but was cheap. this was off ebay for $3. its for an EK, radiator stay.
aluminum. i folded it and....installed it.
looks cleaner and i only use one stay.


in the mail i got my paint. header wrap. more gold reflective tape/mat
and 355lph fuel pump. looking for 1600c injectors.
deleting AC completely since it doesnt work anyways........ROTREX

exploring the sudo muffler for the rattle

took this off and cut it open.
the stainless is pretty thick.
the insulation was very dense and packed.
after pulling it out, looks like its a straight through. no rattle found :/




replacing muffler with this. magnaflow 3" turbo muffler


decided to do the fuel pump to since i had time last night.
filter was disgusting.


oem next to 355lph pump. i like that loudness lol. WEEEEEEEE!!!

got the car to a friends house.
hes painted cars before so i let him take over.







he did a good job. it looks good. but i thought it would be more grey :thud:
its pearly though. has like a metallic glittery effect like coal

BASS BOAT PAINT FTW!!......:slap:

its least its not straight black. should have done grey or white.
However my friend did a super good job and it looks good either way.

wet sanded/buffed/polished.





halfway put back together. the roof sill stuff was junk. the rubber fell off and i cannot get them back on.
