New to the forum but I was wondering if anyone had any ideas or opinions. I saw a Mugen Hatch on a website with a JDM K20a2?? motor and six speed tranny with LSD etc.. I was wondering if this motor could be swapped straight in to an 04 SI. I was also wondering if any1 knew where to find this kind of package. I saw a site where it was like close to 10,000 for the engine tranny and all. Just wanted to read other peoples opinions. Thanks. 8)

You can swap a k20a JDM for around $5500 + install

or a rsx type s motor for $3500 + install

or a k24a longlblock with the tranny you already have for $1500+ install

or a tsx motor for around $2500 + install

So many choices, I know

Which has the most potential in your opinion. The main reason I was thinking about the JDM swap is cuz I think they rev higher than domestic engines. I don't know that I'd put a turbo in but I wouldn't mind having that as an option too. I appreciate your help.

If you are going to go turbo, get a rsx type s.

I was thinking it would be fun to supercharge a rsx type s head with a tsx block to swap in my 05 si, is it possible can anybody offer me some advice
