I read the link on RSXClub and noticed something they seem to have missed. But they are trying to use S2000 rotors and not ITR replacements

You can order rotors from them! But they wont ship stock replacement to N. America but any of the other ones for the DC5 R they will. I sent them an "inquiry" about it and asked why and what the possible shipping costs would be. Its not ideal since it would have to ship from Aus and not the States but it might be a place to start. That is if it works

What do we know about the rear rotors? Are they the same as the RSX stock?

thx for the help guys.. well i do have the whole set-up from knuckle to LCA to drive shafts.. so bolting the DC5R onto the car isnt a problem.. since my car is gonna be track use, i thought it would be wise to have spare break rotors.. that was my original question.. but i will check out dba and see if i can find something..

I am a US distributor and as you can see they forward me the web inquiries.

I'd have to special order from AU - and I'd want to insure stock before doing so but the DC5 rotors can be shipped here.

Shipments usually take 6-8 weeks depending on ship details but I've done it several times for cases like these.

Are you just looking for the front rotors that you listed above?​

I've been open for about 4 years and I've been in the brake business for about 8. I know - my website isn't great - but I am a good vendor on NASIOC and some Subaru boards as that is my primary market - but I get lots of inquiries such as these from DBA since I am pretty good at brakes (rather than just a large warehouse w/ part numbers).

As far as rotors - if DBA makes them then gettgin them here is not difficult - it justs takes a bit of time. If the sales are regular than we'd certainly stock some here. First thing to do would be to advertise the availability (after I confer w/ DBA) - then perhpas a group buy or something.

I'll have to get more info on the DC5 brake pads and rear rotors. It's very likely something easily available once we know what it is. It's a Brembo caliper up front - do you have one already? If the pads are in it - a sketch/trace would help. Also - the one thing EBC is good for is their international catalog.

Anything USDM is pretty easy - just a matter of me getting it if I don't stock it.

Neway - I'm not surprised a US Brembo person couldn't tell you - they are huge. Also - Brembo makes the caliper and sources the pad for the OE - but probably doesn't do the rotor. Also - that's OEM business not aftermarket - so info doesn't flow like that.

I was aware of the type R over there - i just wasn't sure if it was basically an RSX or whatever.

That's a common Brembo caliper adapted to the Honda knuckle - just like Subaru/Nissan etc did it. It should be pretty easy to figure out which pad it is - there are only about 4 different ones. My bet is HB194 - or this pad.

The rear looks like standard Honda parts - 1 piston floating caliper and solid rotors. Might be the same as USDM RSX rears (like the newer TSX - it looks like Honda only puts the Brembo's on the front)

If that is the case - then i'd only need to do a few things.

Get DBA to bring some here
ID the pad in the Brembo's - a sketch and sometimes just dimensions is enough
ID the pads and rotors for the rear (RSX rears are a good place to start)​

might want to look at that if your thinking about doing a conversion. the rotors are much lighter and bigger then your stock setup..plus the r&d is already done for you and no need to mess with anything..

Yea but for $300 less than that shipped I got all 4 corners of the suspension with almost new pads and rotors, DC5R wheels with almost new tires, Front lower control arms, axles, and F&R sway bars.

All I need are some new tie rod ends, sway bar end links, and to make sure the brake brake lines on my car are long enough cause they cut the swap ones.

I'm in for a set of front rotors if there is a group buy. Hopefully the price is better than what I've found so far. The rest of the parts can be sourced domestically.

u have rotors? the pads are just regular TL type S and RL pads even same as 350Z brembos.. just rotors are hard to find..

I found them from Kings Motorsport (Mugen ones) and they are pricey!!

Lings is your best bet. The part numbers are posted on the ClubRSX thread you posted on. There are also sets up for auction on ebay sometimes, but I find the OEM Brembo pads produce too much dust.

I think I was around that in Canadian funds, shipped from the UK to Canada, however I don't recall the price.
