Made my own hood today. Still needs alittle work but it will do for now.

This should keep the rain out at least.

hmmmmmmmmmm hmmmmmmmm.... Let me get back to U on this one!!!
I like it man! A little rough where the welds are, but I know you are not done!

One guy here in ohio has a J swapped integra (youtube V6 integra) and I suggested doing something like what you did. But he is to cool, he runs no hood. Good job man!
Hey its a good prototype.... very creative. But does the hood have to be THAT high to clear the IM??
does the hood have to be THAT high to clear the IM??

Yes and no. I could have bent it a little sooner in the front and caried out the rear to make the transition more flat behind the washer nozzles. But like you said "prototype". The next one should go smoother and not be so bulky.
what. the ef is that lol

junk it and cut up another like everyone else
bro try cutting the hole like the original... then take a very thin mesh and mold it to just clear the engine... then glass over the mesh..... u see what im sayn? if not pm me il explain it better, we did this once to fix a teggy mugen bummper that was 50% misssing worked perfect.... metal is not the way to go.. the only way i could see using metal would be similar to how u make a motorcycle gas tank with a mallet and english wheel not straight angeld bends like that........
shitz ugly lmao good try tho...lets c the final product
Ugly for sure, but it's better than the damn motor sticking out of a hacked up hood IMO.
Looks huge nose:)
from the side it looks like a good way to create drag... but from the front I see where you were going

the hood has some body contour lines \_/ you should follow those lines...

trim the edges and raise the center section only, keeping the front oem looking, and you will pretty much be able to see in your engine bay from the driver seat... hope you know what I mean
i honestly like the idea
It is his own thing. Something he just made up. And thats Why I think it is cool. He didnt just run no hood, or a square cut in the hood, he did something different!

+1
