The weather was nice today (1 C) so I decided to get started on what I call "project K". It was my first engine removal ever and it wasn't that hard. I am, however, mechanically inclined. Anyways, here are some pics:

This is what she looks like now. Get a good look cause when I am done with it you won't recognize her! :)

At this point I am thinking, " I hope it's easier than it sounds"

Half way there:

Ahhh Finally

Well from here it's on to body and paint, suspension, urethane bushings, and some powder coating. I'll keep u guys updated.

My car's the same color and everything, though I have the little 13in wheels on it. Keep us updated, I'm hopefully starting mine in about a month.

Good luck with your project! I just got started on a k-swap myself but I started by acquiring the motor first... sitting in mah garage waiting to go in my EK....

Mine has been sitting in the Garage since August :( Between saving and a few mechanical problems that i had with my winter beater i lost a ton of time. I am in no rush to finish the job and I am probably sure it won't be finished for this summer. With any luck I'll finish by the fall.
