I wanted to know if it is possible to run reliable without K-pro? Since that 1600+ dyno time, will set me back i am wondering if it is possible to just run on a k20 ecu for a month without damaging the motor just for daily commuting?

you can run a jdm K20A ecu or get a hondata reflash

I run my K20A without a Hondata... And today I ran the EG to an 11.84 @ 112mph

Hondata also just released there k100 system. This would save you about $400.00 over the kpro system.

it doesn't have to be tunned, you can use your stock flash...

the main reason people get k-pro is

1. the immobilizer
2. the dyno tunned programs there already
3. you can later tune it to your cars profile


with the k100 you have to take it to the dealer to redo the programming... i din't think its worth it, just get the kpro...
