I told them I am planning on it. They tell me that I have $5000 of coverage with my policy and then I can up it to up to $10000. They tell me that it would cover engine replacement. Unfortunately, if I get into in accident, I believe they said they would fix my car to stock specs but give me the money for the aftermarket ones. Best thing to do is ask. It is the same thing as expensive stereo equipment according to what they told me.

If it's going to be a daily driver I HIGHLY recommend talking to your insurance company about geting a special policy or rider to cover all the shit you have done to the car. I had a 93 hatch with a 12 PSI supercharged B18 stolen a while back. Specs: hondata, Aquamist water injection, JRSC, buddy club exhaust with ITR header and custom cat, Hondata, Type-r ABS system, Type R gauge cluster, 2002 EP3 seats, Wilwood front brake upgrade, traction bars, about $1500 worth of audio shit and $1000 worth of gauges. You know what my insurance gave me????...... Blue book for a 10 year old Civic CX. Yeah, Thanks for fucking nothing.
