Hey guys, just wanted to know how you guys got your DTR fab headers in while the motor was in the car. I just tried to test fit it in place and i just cant get through the area where the crossmember is and the halfshaft. Do any of you guys have some times i should give a shot?

Someone told me they had to remove the halfshaft before they installed the header... Others told me they had no problems, so I guess it depends how you are inserting the header in the car? Maybe break it in 2 -3 pieces? Not sure

you do not need to remove the halfshaft, just the shield, it looks hard at first but you just have to jack up the car real high and have the headers facing flat and enter the top first then rotate them while going upwards. just jack up the car high and you will see. no need to remove shit.

i should have some instructions on how to install this header.. But what Chameleon is saying is exactly what you need to do.. get the car on a lift or as high as you can... it will slip right in
