I have determined that the cause of my smoke at idle and deceleration is due to my turbo. I bought the turbo with the understanding it was a precision 57 Trim. I installed the turbo and 2 weeks later found the bolts backing out on it. I think this messed the seals up in the turbo and now she smokes more so than ever. When I reinstalled it I found ZERO shaft play so I found it odd.

ANYHOW, I'm wondering if I could just install a geniun CHRA with the housings that I already have. This would allow me for a quality turbo 250-300 cheaper. I'm thinking that I could just get a precision 57trim chra or a garrett chra which seems to be the same... any turbo guys out there with a little knowledge would be awsome!
