SO HERE IT IS!!

whats going on K20A!

my name is Rick. im from NY. not upstate but not in the boroughs.

i am currently working on a k24a2 motor with a K20A2 trans swap into a 98 sedan.. right now the car is in the body shop getting re painted.

here it is in my driveway. bought just the shell


heres the valve cover i painted... wrinkle black with a flake


the motor and trans


and here it is in the paint booth


fully gutted


ill update more once i get to see where the body shop is with the car...

for now all i want to do is get the up and running, future plans will be to work the motor, and then slap a nice size turbo on it.

heres what i have so far.. everything is uninstalled due to the car at the body shop.

MOTOR:
05 k24a2 motor
02 k20a2 trans
k-pro PRB ecu
chasebays engine/charge harness
k-tuned package 4
walbro 255fuel pump
rbc intake mani
type-s alternator, starter, halfshaft, injectors, slave cylinder, shifter box and cables,o2 sensor, throttle body,
blackworks racing header
crv side mount, gaskets and seals, coolant temp sensor, fan switch
hybrid racing half rad w/ fan
Apexi worldsport 2 exhaust

SUSPENSION:
d2 coils
beaks tie bar
passwordjdm 3pt strut brace
asr subframe brace
blackworks racing lca's
k-tuned traction bar
99/00 rear brakes
wilwood front BBK
konig remembers w/ bbs centercaps (picked up off a friend, came with tires. just till i buy something better)

EXTERRIOR:
roof visor
window visors
mugen style C/F spoiler
yellow housing fogs
benen tow hooks
EDM rear fog
JDM front parking pole
JDM rear parking pole
power folding mirrors
50/50 tails
CTR 99/00 headlights
99/00 front end (i have a 98)

INTERRIOR:
wink 5 panel mirror


thats it so far... more to come in the future after the paint shop finishes and i can get my motor in and tune. then ill probably finish up my exterrior and start the interrior work..

any positive insight is welcomed.

hell yea.

if you're using ekk2 mounts, your pwjdm strut bar may not work. didn't in my ek.

you're going to need the cover for the clutch if you haven't gotten one yet.

unfortunatly. im using EKK1 mounts.. i didnt read up on the ekk2 or ekk1 setups until after i had everything. but. im fine with a little bit of axle displacement. and from what most Daily driven drivers say, the axles really dont wear out that badly because of how its placed..
