Take the piece under the throttle body known as the IACV and clean it out,if that doesnt work go under Parameters in Kpro and go to Idle and adjust the slider bar towards the left and see if that works.
yea what he said... it might be rusted or clogged or something... also check to make sure that the wire is plugged into it. Then if all else fails u need to adjust it from kpro

well the thing i dont get i drove the car this motor came out of then 30 min later we took the engine out so if the car drove normal then why not in my car?
in that case either the plug into the bottom of the TB is not plugged in poperly.. or u need to adjust it with the ecu... or there is a leak somewhere on the manifold

If i didnt change the coolant temp sensor from my d17 to my k20a2 could this also be part of the problem?
NO...

go buy a few cans of brake cleaner.. spray all around your mani where there could be possible leaks.... gaskets obetween the head and the TB. hoses attached to the mani and so forth.. if you spray and it stop surging then u found ur leak

yea its gona blow white smoke wen it sucks it up and burns it off...

let me get this straight....

wen ur not sprayin the idle goes up and down??
wen u start spraying it stop fluctuating and blows white smoke?



find the area where u spray and it stops going up and down... thats where u have a vacuum leak

ok i r e car for about 15 min and the idle stoped and the smoked is still just a tiny bit but mostly stoped i dunno what it was that i sprayed but i think it was one of the sensors and i unclogged it thankz alot will post again if problem returns
