Its a k20a2 in a 00 civic coupe. Running kpro, Hybird-racing engine wiring. The car runs fine. But when its at idle it surges from 2k-3k rpms. We checked the IAC sensor and it was fine.

The evap hose is not connected to anything, would this cause the bad idle? We checked the brake booster hose for leaks and it was good also. Should I start playing with the throttle screw?

Anyhelp would be appreciated, thanks.

You need to check for vaccum leak. Put you hand over the TB while the engine is running if it still runs you have a major vaccum leak. Possible intake manifold gasket, but it could just be a simple vaccum hose disconnected. You can get a can of carb cleaner spray around the intake manifold and tb if its starts to idle better, that may be the possible location of the leak. Good Luck............
