I think you mean stroke. You cannot stroke higher than 2.7 with even a 106mm crank.is this a good idea or not. bc i kno people who bored there K20 tp a k24
You have to mean stroke. In order to get a motor to anything close to 2.4L with the stock 86mm stroke you would have to go to a 94mm bore and I've never heard of anyone going more than 90mm.is this a good idea or not. bc i kno people who bored there K20 tp a k24
Correct . . .I think you mean stroke. You cannot stroke higher than 2.7 with even a 106mm crank.
thisCorrect . . .
Even with a 90.5 bore and a 106 crank its stil 2727CCs . . .
Not being a dick, but if you even have to ask this question I doubt you are capable of making a motor that big work anyways.
You cant just slap in a big crank and expect it to work. So many more things come into play.
:up:A K28 is possible, but just barely.
Inline pro 106mm crank and 91mm Bore which is Nearly impossible to get a headgasket to seal on comes out to 2752cc...which technically would be a 2.8L - Possible, yes. However not even CLOSE to worthwhile.
