How easy it is to put an A2 head on an A3... I had my mind made up to do this... and Ive had 10 people say its no thing... and then Ive heard other people saying you must go Kpro and after that you need a bunch of other after market parts...

How easy/affordable is it to put an a2 head on an a3 VS. doing a full k20a2 swap...

I just want a straight answer... :rolleyes:

straight answer= dont do it... WAY to much hasle...
better get a K20A2 head with a K24 block= then, its
actualy worth it(ie " poor man's ITR)
if you have the funds(always worth it to save up)
just get yourself a JDM or the "a2" engine- it will be
much easier and "MAYBE" (not sure) even
close to what you would pay for the swap your talking about.
so for same price= k20a JDM > k20a3 with head, dont you think?


edit: guys, feel free to correct me if i'm wrong in any way....

If you put the A2 head on the A2 you have to kpro it otherwise your motor will run on 2 valves until you hit the vtec and then it will switch over to 4 valves and you still won't have a real vtec until you Kpro it and I agree it isn't worth it I have the A3 as well and I am saving up for an A2 I would do the same if I was you

he bought the car before getting into performance...didn't know the difference and got a good deal on his car.
