Honda Civic `04 from Malaysia shores

Hello everyone, thank you for your time lookin into this thread.I`m new to cars and especially Honda. Recently i`ve bought a new honda civic 2.0 i-vtech dohc. after surfing the net for a long time, i come to know the engine code of my car is a k20a. my question is, the current engine under my car hud, does it happen to share the same engine with the one they`ve got in the new Integra? i`ve heard about this actually from some local car magazine recently but i`m pretty unsure.i`m sorry if my question sounds stupid to everyone here but i`m only a newbie!

Low boost can run safely without intercooler. But higher boost, then it's different story.

nice car u have there and nice rim too. White Ce28N would be nicer i think.

CRV Turbo

Ya right low boost without intercooler anyway i the first one doing this K20A3 turbo on CRV hehe... very good i very satisfy with it ..

thx guys for all da infos.. btw, prodrive.. do you mind telling me what rim are u using? and did ya changed it into a different size of inch? our standardize stock is 15'' only

but i was thinking to shift it to a 16'' good idea, no? :lol:

Yea, perhaps u`re right.. i was thinking of rims.. chromed rims maybe? what do you guys say? gimme some brands and prices of cause.. best if it comes with pictures...

Hi ong, come on over to singapore if ya got the time as the K-pro is available here & so is reliable tuning. Controling the vtc is a must have! let me know if you need the contacts. :wink:

hi bro, would you happen to be the EP3 who had the toda cams installed at Desmond's (N1) or another EP3 who comes down to Singapore Orchard road to join in the fun once in a while..?

:wink: you have a car that won the Merdeka Millenium Endurance race 1st & 3rd over all,pipped even the GT3s and elises. you can basically use anything from a dc5 r for your car. brakes, engine,... :twisted:

i found out recently when Honda Malaysia mailed me a copy of VCD of their backstage works and preparation for the race, and some scenes taken in the race of the car! was pretty proud of their work! they had the car promoted in Sunway Pyramid too once! i was there

Anyway, which part of selangor ya at? Do you happen to come by SG often? I hope my schedule allows me to go PJ b4 christmas, looking for some stuff & i got some friends asking me to check out the 'smoked'(blacken) headlights that I think your car came with :wink:
nice compared to what we have here for the stock ES headlights!

Anyone know where will be the shop that won the Millenium Merdeka Race? I heard they have some cool ass hop-ups for K20A.

one thing i wonder about ur car in malaysia is, what is the grade of gas u need because in calfornia or should i say in the american manual it says the grade of gas should be like 87 or higher. i was just wondering about other countries.

The gas in msia is 98 RON. Nothing compared to Jap's 100 RON.
