I need to get an idea how the EF mounts work. Like how many holes need to be drilled, etc...



What radiator will work? Main difference from EG swap other than mounts and axles and wiring?

Well honda make a huge range of different length axles you should be able to find a factory one to fit... Plus they are strong enough to take a good hiding... I would imagine doing a conversion into an EF that there would be a small element of cutting and welding required but nothing that much greater than whats involved in the EG-EK kits...

You'll need t remove the transmission bracket. There will be a new bracket that welds in a little forward of the one you remove.

Brian G, I have a couple questions for you if you don't mind.

1. Do you forsee the alternator needing to be moved or its mounting position altered (k20a into ef chassis)?

2. Will any brake system parts need to be relocated?

3. Will you or do you already offer a weld in kit that may be cleaner or less bulky than the kit which will use stock mounting locations?

Excuse the Noob Q's - I've done a search but cannot find the info.
Couple of theoretical questions for K20/EF swap:

1. Clutch? (I cannot find info if the K's clutch is hydro or cable actuated???) Would it be a matter of a cable-to-Hydro or Hydro-to-cable conversion???

2. I'm in the UK (RHD) - so the master cylinder, steering column etc, etc is on the "wrong" side of the bulkhead from you guys, will this effect installation?? Looking a Pacman's/brian g's install pics there seems to be enough room to clear the header?? But I'm not sure?

3. Does/will a Pnp harness plug into the EF ignition harness or will a TypeR OEM ignition/barrel have to be grafted into the stock steering column?

Sorry for all the RHD questions, but I know as soon as I get this swap done there will be a lot more UK CRX owners visiting this site :wink:
