Anybody heard of this so called ''the races''????....some guy was passing out flyers at a party I went to last week. He said that their are race cars of all kind and they run on some long streets, they happen on Friday and Saturday nights in the city of Ontario. If anybody has gone or even heard of these ''races'' share your coments about them.
Has anybody ever gone to ''the races'' in So Cal, Ontario?

The races in Ontario are rediculous. Theres like 100 cars and 70% are ricers that just go to watch. 30% are idiots who like to show off and do stunts. Everytime i've gone I felt like i was gunna get in an accident at any minute. There are cops every 20 min and sometimes they do raids. BUT...It is pretty fun if u aint got nuttin to do on a Sat night.CRSEX said:

Ontario use to be a really nice place to race years ago. But now all it's wack. Nothing but ricers. CHP will pull you over for no reason and make you pop your hood. If they see anything they think is illegal you will get a state ref ticket. But you can catch some nice races out there on wednesdays every now and then.

you know whats funny to me is. All day i see people hating ricers when you are just as ingorant like skinheads and all other racist people. dont judge poeple for what they drive man. body kits and altezza were hot like 3 years and beyond ago and you know you once had your car like that. So you change because everyone is going the stock or jdm look now. I aint going to lie I was the first to have the black widow kit in the northwest 7 years ago from ground dezign for my 99 accord. And damn everyone was jocking. I have no hate or do i call them ricers because i was once in there shoes. Every people have there own taste. Yeah it does look ugly if you got a front fiber glass bumperthat hangs way lower than the rest of your car and your rocking the altezza lights and a loud muffler thats welded to your stock piping but thats there choice. Dont need to call them names like ricer because you were once there too.

I have heard about them and last time I was out there I went hunting for the races but could not find them. I was planning on whooping up some ricers with my rental Kia. lol.
ive been there they are off of Edwanda and the 60 fwy. lots of cars and lots of cops...all the times ive been out there nobody races they just drive circles. mostly nissan sentras, ford escorts, ford 5. slows with body kits and fart pipes. so i try to stay away from that sort of thing. although i did race a evo 8 MR...he beat me by half a car but we dont need to get into that.

yea been ther back in 2000 when that shit used to crack but with new laws ill stay clear of those spots anymore.
My and my bro go all the time, and its true that its mostly ricers but theres also some sick fast cars. I've seen people have hatches on flat beds with mad slicks and skinnys in the back. I recently went to them on saturday and there was a lot of cars. You need to go when the Speedway is open. Because they head out to the runs afterwards.
