I am having issues breaking trans and was wondering what options there are as far as gears go... can anyone help?

A buddy told me to check into Carbonetic. Anyone using them?

By the way.. I Made 451whp 396wtq on a mustang dyno if that helps.

Gear-X 6spd gearset is what you're looking for, the teeth are much thicker and the metalurgy is much stronger. The kits costs $2700 I think.

Ckeck out www.Bullheadgears.com these are the only gears I use and never had a problem. My car makes over 800+whp. I have used the synchro set and dog box. PPG is the way to go. Pm me if you need more info.

When u mean breaking the trans. Are u breaking the gears or the sychros are getting meshed up. What grs and sychros? Cause I think if u messing up 1-2 get the ppg 1-2 set. I'm going to use that on my next tranny and I also have a quaife dogbox tranny.
