I need to know the size of tap to buy to rethread the holes in my crank for the flywheel bolts, apparently i didnt tighten the flywheel down enough and messed the threads up some. Ordered new bolts but couldnt find the exact pitch to order a tap any one know it?

Ill get it for you just as soon as I get home. :up: Becareful with that too. The crank is something you dont want to retap or threadclean.

thanks and its just the first two or so threads thats messed up after that there fine.

for security I'd go with a new crank if you can find one for a good price.

I don't know if you can safely retap due to the size/shape of most tapping tools. You might have to go with a helicoil.

If by chance the crank is out of the car, then as previously suggested, I would probably try to find a new crank. However I'm very particular about things like that.
