Okay guys, from what I've read when making custom brake lines and doing tucks people use 10mm or -3an fittings. With flare tools that make double flares.

My questions are:

-When using 10mm fittings, use a 37 degree flare tool, correct?

-When using -3an fittings, use a 45 degree flare tool, correct?

-Since i want to use -3an fittings, I'll need a quantity of two 10mm to -3an adapters for my tandem master cylinder?

Just wanted to verify this before i purchase my flare tool. Thanks guys.

x2 ridgid flare tool are the bees knees. they are not cheap but you will only have to buy it once and it will not strip like some of the cheap ones. first one i bought was a cheapo and the little grippers that held the tube stripped and every time i went to flare it would push the tube down instead of flaring it. had to tighten it down as tight as i could then put in a vise and crank it down just so the tube would not slide out whe trying to flare it.
