Hey,

I'm finally getting to the point where I can start putting new parts on the motor so I'm pretty excited! I've spent half the day searching but found nothing specific. I'm pretty sure I've got the pulley and bearing cover put together the right way.

Can someone give me the torque specs for the EP3 idler pulley retaining bolt and bracket bolts?

I found 8.7 lbs-ft for the bracket bolts from the euro EP3 helms. Is that right?

Thanks.

the 8.7 u refering to is for the clip holder.. there is no torque specs for the idler puller cause it comes already assembled. but in the manual they do say the tensioner pulley is torqued to 41lbs i think it said. so i would assume the same for the idler pulley

I was thinking about using the tensioner idler pulley torque number but was hoping for more specific number. After finding and looking through the helms, you're right, there is no torque specs. Doesn't make any sense because I bought mine in pieces.

Hopefully the 41 lbs-ft. is accurate or close enough to what the factory does.

Does anybody with an EP3 idler want to chime in on what they did?
