engine won't crank, no power to starter?

its a k24a2 with 6 speed tranny into a 95 e.g. civic. The engine won't crank, makes absolutely no sounds when trying to turn it over. got a ground from back of engine to chassis and one from the transmission over to the chassis. still have yet to wire the conversion harness relays but everything else is wired. have a lot of sensors on the engine not wired yet. getting all the sensors in the mail in a few days. what are the key tricks and key sensors that make the vehicle start (not too much about rough idle, just mandatory sensors). been doing a lot of research and would really appreciate the help guys!
