No, Im going to leave it like that. The EG oem tank is similar where the pump is, so I think that will work just fine for me. And the return line goes back to the splash plate cup where the pump is.

Got my clutch and other parts.
You know the story about Odyssey, the Greek saga about the Hero Odyssey? He was an emperor, liberator and was very brave, but he also took a 10 year long odyssey (= journey without finding the destination you want to be) at sea before came back home. I hope this clutch does do more the first then the last ;).

Im not sending the tank to anodising. The guy who makes it said that it is hard to get done in the inside, because it is a tank, if the flow thru of the object is not good, the anodising wont work inside, outside would be ok.

Honda's synchro systems are a weak link of the K-series trannies. The JDM gearboxes had upgraded synchro systems for faster shifting, at least the FD2 gearbox if I remember correctly. Anyway I assume you will put on much higher loads on it anyway, a full upgrade of synchronisation and gear wheels would help to have less issues. Even if you stay NA, the higher traction puts more load on the tranny parts.

I have all ready synchrotec carbon syncros. Looks like I nees to get new 3 gear and sleeve. The 3 synchro works fine if you try it on the table, but the gear is so fked up that 3 gear did go on only at low rpm.

Great. Are those from the FD2 or aftermarket?

but the gear is so fked up that 3 gear
Looks like the synchronization wasn't finished and the shift force was strong and rigid enough brush those teeth a bit more then usual ;).

Ok, so I found this when I was tearing apart the 6s transmission. This is the main shaft bearing. When I lifted the cover off, the bearing pieces dropped on the floor. Looks like the bearing has failed some how. There was oil in the trans, but dunno what happened. There is a mark on the gear that it was heated. Against the bearing. I think that when the bearing broke, the clutch pressure forced the shaft to move 🤔

Now this is weird, that busted gear is 2 gear, not 3. But I had no problems to get 2 gear on. The 3 was the problem, its weird because there is no other singns of any wear of the gears or sycros. Only the 2 gear is worn. And 3 gear was the one with the problem 🤔
