has anyone, or know anyone, who has designed and running a dry sump, cos british roads aint smooth, and hitting a crater will cause disaster to my k block.

pace have done one, but it's really designed for a caterham style install...

I am currently getting a sump made for more convetional use, it's just taking ages!

how did or do u get round the problem, if u can call it one, by moving the oil pick up point higher with a shallower sump, wouldnt that mean that would have to be designed aswell?

err - pickup in a dry sump?

The point in a dry sump is that you don't have the internal pump or pickup.

the problem is where you locate the pump, the PACE kit mounts on the wrong side for my needs, and the sump pan is the wrong angle for how the engine is fitted.

what do you mean by the pace kit is ounted on the wrond side?
any pics to help clear this up cos i cant picture what your trying to say

as in the pump sits on the exhuast side of the engine, not much help for my apllication.
