I dropped a valve, high RPM, vlave bounced all over the place, took big chunks of meat from the chambers ended up upside down in the seat. Now Im looking to fix the head. Anyone know of a good place reasonably priced, that welds, and reshapes the chambers, so I can spare my head?

Just get a new head. That will probably cost you more to have it repaired.

I bet you had the wrong keepers for the retainers you are running. There are a few out there that fit real sloppy.

The machine shop costs will be more than a replacement bare head will cost.

Not ture.

I fixed a few heads that were "junk". Its the perfect opportunity to upgrade the valve train, seats, guides and valves. Get a set of 1+ mm intake valves and you have a head that will flow and perform.
