Hey guys I have been working on a aftercooler setup for my rsx type-s for sometime now. Bell Intercoolers was nice enough to work with me and I was able to design a core that can hold up to the tortures of the JRSC. Since then guys have been asking me about the core and have had Bell make it for them. The problem for a lot of guys is the fabrication work. Mating the core to the blower access plate on the manifold.

Justin worked with Bell Intercoolers and a fabricator (both are in San Antonio, TX) to put together the core and plate so you can buy it all assembled. After that you just have to buy a heat exchanger, pump, some fittings, and hose and you are in business. There is no profit involved in any of this for me or Justin just an option now available to the supercharger guys running greater than 9 psi. This core will fit in the blower for the RSX Type-S but it is to big for the EP JRSC manifold. Hope this helps some of you guys out in the near future.

Unfortuntely the before dynoes I do not have.

I made 299whp and 191tq at 9.5 psi on a K20Z1 stock with BCRH on Tony Palo's dynojet when I first did testing which is 20-30whp over what uncooled 11psi setups made in the past on his dyno. This was also in the middle of summer 100+. Erik Loza made 335whp and 241tq on the same dyno with his stock internal K24 setup with SSR header 4-2-1 SC specific. Blacknite made 337 whp and 220tq with SSR 4-1 SC specific header.

For me its more than just WOT. Since running the cooler my car just runs better each day everyday. Even when it is 100+ here in TX the car runs spirited versus before. we are currently seeing 40-50 degree differences in IAT temps.

I am not able to do more testing with the M62 since I have begun working on a Lysholm 1.6 L Twinscrew build. It will be interesting to see how well this core works at higher (18psi) boost.

What's erik loza's specs?
-TSX block with K20A2 head.
-Z1 intake cam, A2 exhaust cam.
-3.0" blower drive pulley.
-SSR 4-2-1 header w/ 1.75" primary tubes.
-2.5" exhaust.

Do you guys thinkg that this intercooler addition can make the Jackson compete with the ROTREX?
I don't know that the M62 should need to compete with the Rotrex. They are two totally different animals. This aftercooler is more for guys who already have the Jackson blower with the DC5 manifold and want to be able to run higher levels of boost more safely. It's an add-on to an existing system while the Rotrex seems like new technology that not many have implemented yet. I'm sure it has its own air-air intercooler.
