I want to show you my daily driver, deep sleeper. It's a 2004 CR-V, engine swapped to a K24 out of a Euro Accord Type S. The CR-V in Europe only comes with a lame K20A4 Engine.

It's a very simple Setup, the sleeves are stock, just Pistons and rods installed into the block - the rest of the engine is stock.
Turbocharger is a Garrett GT3076 with the smaller T04E compressor housing - i just had this one laying around. :)
The weak link in my setup is a cast manifold. Yes, i know ...
The complete exhuast had to made custom, cause you cannot get ready made 3" exhaust for the CR-V.
The intercooler is Water-to-Air. It's easier to install, in the heavy ass CR-V some more weight does not really count and i want to know how well or bad it works. And it works not too bad for me! ;)

It's tuned on a stock ECU with ProECU-K.
This really simple setup puts down 472HP (crank) until the stock fuelsystem with 1000ID and 340 Aeromotive Stealth Pump maxes out. In daily use i put down the boost a bit and run 408HP (crank).

Instead of gauges i use an Android Tablet with DroiDash-K, dashboard software. It displays even Oiltemp, Oilpressure and EGT which are connected to the ECU. the coolest is, i can switch the boost tables on the Tablet, too!

It was build over a year ago and daily driven!

Next plans: upgrade Fuelsystem, better Manifold

Hope you like my Daily Sleeper :)

Engine: K24A? + CP Pistons + Eagle Rods
Turbo: GT3076
Manifold: cheap Cast
Wastegate: 38mm Precision
Exhaust: 3" custom made
Engine Management: ProECU-K
Gauges: DroiDash-K

I love it!
My wife has exactly the same CR-V 2006. ...maybe some day...
You gotta upload some on-board or even better some outside footage of that thing taking off.
amazing.
And how on earth oil sensors can be read from ECU??? Even K-Pro can't do it, right?

Long time since the OP has been online. I wonder what is needed to get the K24 to fit ? Do all k motors mate to all k gearboxes?

Im guessing mounts and subframe also need to be changed.
All engines in the same timeline work with each other. In the case of a crv or element, they have k24a1/4 stock, therefore a k24A2 or K24A mounts right in. As for the trans, all trans mounting is the same for the most part from 2002-2011
