Hey all,

I was wondering if you could tell me the pros and cons between the DC2 and an EK coupe........I have both the DC2 and EK right now and am looking to maybe trade my EK for another Integra.......

Isn't the Integra more rigid in it's design over the civic? They both were the last to get the double wish bone fronts yea?

Does ~100lbs equals to about -.25ish in the quarter?

Which car is more aerodynamic and why? From what I understand, the Integra does sit lower, but I remember that the coupe EK actually has better aerodynamics?? true/false?

I just want a car for auto crossing....something that's solid, takes corners extremely well, rigid and made for some abuse...er rather hard driving conditions....I'm also building my motor for NA.....

Thanks in advance !!

The Integra 4door probably has the stiffest frame followed by the EK coupe, and then the Integra 3door.

Yes

Don't know, but it depends on your HP.

I've heard the EK has better aero than the EG, but I have no idea as compared to the Integra.

The Integra would be a better choice based on engine placement. The aero is probably close enough not to make a difference on a autocross course. You should try to make the car lighter though. The Integra chassis can be stiffened with bracing.

Thanks for the reply......

It's interesting to see that almost all the fast Hondas in drag racing etc..are Civics...you barely see Integras.....guess it's due to the civics being lighter?

I'm about to post another interesting topic that may satisfy the curiousity of some people....

thx again..

with the k block in the teg and civics, joestypeS on ht has a k20 in it and the sump sits like 4 inches from the floor, (those were his exact words) there is a thread where someone has dropped a k24 into a eg, with pic, and the sump look slike it sits slightly higher. thought u might wanna take that into consideration aswell.
