Last night i ran my car at the the track, i ran a 13.51 at 106.93,tons of traction problems in my dc2. but at the same time i cracked the top of my tranny housing, right where the top bolt of the back mount bolts up too. but my main question is do you think i should do replace the whole housing or just weld it back.

What mounts do you have? What were the mounts made for street or race? What's your setup too?

Just to get an idea of other factors that could have made it crack besides a weak housing.

You can weld it. Were the other bolts tight?

I have the hasport mounts, and yes the bolts were tight, the car has been fine for the last 4-5 months with this swap.. I have just the JDM k20a with the DTr 4-2-1 header with a buddy club spec3 exhaust. I have some garbage 195 15 50 kuhmo escta tires.
