I searched and couldn't find anything. Can you guys shead some light on how to compression test a k20 motor with the motor out of the car not installed?

The same way as in the car? Hook up the starter and apply 12 volts?
use something like this http://www.amazon.com/Actron-CP7853-Remote-Starter-Switch/dp/B0009XQUKW
it is just an inline switch, you can probably pick it up at a local car parts store.

just get a battery and jumper cables. with the tranny and starter installed attatch negative anywhere on the motor, and the positive to the starter + and solenoid
