Why do you need new clutch lines for a k20 swap?

The clutchline is used for ease of install.

There are other options such as using the OEM hard line.You would need to have a custom hardline made to join the master cylinder and the OEM (Kseries) hard line.

Not everyones swap comes with the oem parts.

im new to the k series and tryin to learn as much as i can bcuzz im plannin on doin this swap..is the cluthline like a shift linkage for the b series motors?

No its like the hard line that ran to the slave cylinder on the front of the B series tranny.

The shifter cables are like the shift linkage on a B series.

They go from the slave to the master with 90* fittings as well as the adapter fittings.

No need for any stock parts.

Excuse me for the big ass bump. What sizes are the fittings on the line? Is that -3AN? I friend of mine decided to part out his unfinished K-swap, but he is missing the adapter fittings that come with your clutchline kit. A have a couple of 10*1.0 to -3AN fittings lying around. But i'm not sure what AN-size the line is.

-3AN to 10mm x 1 should be the correct size.
