? why get one piston, what is wrong with what you will be setting up with? I am assuming your running stock pistons? You wont damage the piston by claying the motor, but I would install the pistons normal, that way you get a more accurate reading and dont scratch the walls up. And I am not an expert, but I would think your safe for 50* cam advance, no claying needed, unless your upping compression. Chris off CRSX mentioned he has yet to see very many cams want 50* so I bet you prob wont benefit past 40* on these.
In the first post of this thread it all stated in there. 09' TSX pistons in a K24A1 block and I want to use the k24a1 rods.
Eagle doesn't make H-beams for the k24. This build is going for OEM internals at this stage.
Yea I consulted one of my friends who is an engine builder and he said you shouldn't need them.
I figure if there is a good amount of clearance, I am going to tape around the ring lands to make sure the piston stay sqaure in the cylinder.
