This is Hondata's race car. It belongs to Derek Stevens, one of the owners of Hondata.
Read about it here

Hondata claims it made 254.2 hp / 169.5 ft-lbs from a stock K20A (dynapack). Total modifications were:

* Prototype Racing header.
* Prototype Racing intake.
* Prototype Racing oil pan baffle.
* Hondata Heatshield.
* Hondata programmable ECU.

This was with a full exhaust on a EG Civic race car. Being significantly lighter than the RSX the car goes like crazy.

Do you see a turbo charger on it?
Do you see a super charger on it?

= NO

It has a fully programable ECU and that mean every fuel ignition map has been changed.

And its Redline is 9800 RPM's, its no B,H, or F series. Its a new honda motor thats been improve 10x better. Expect new things to be better than olds thing's.

For example : My car is faster and more effiecient than the horse you ride to work every day (Plus no droppings).

So with stock internals and an ECU with IHE, we go from the K2OA's 220hp which is around 196ish whp, to 254.2. So thats a 60 whp improvment just from the bolt ons??!??!?!?! Even if the motor made 210 stock (somehow) it would be a 45 whp imporvmnet? I am sure its built ground up. Especially with a 9800 redline, stock internals wouldnt see the light of day. NICE FREAKIN SETUP AS IS, I would like to know what lives beneath the surface of that valve cover.

They are going to be madness

Although these are great numbers ....the car was tested on a Dynapack. I would like to see it tested on an 04 dynojet for the true Whp figure

For real! Once there are some aggressive cams available matched with some internal work, these motors are going to be putting down some rediculous numbers.
This is making me rethink going with the H22 swap that is sitting on my garage floor waiting to go in. Wiring is done, its just me thinking that i want a K20 that is stopping me from doing the swap

Ok, so the stock cam springs are doing ok at 9800 rpm!!! And obviously it's reliable cause here he is road racing. WOW!!! Did you see the intake temps drop as soon as he hit the straights. 4 or 5 degrees in just a couple secs.
