There is not one place to has the best price...

You have to call around, and try to get the same price...

For example, this place wanted 6500 for a complete swap 2 months ago.. I called them and offered 5500.. They said no... Last week they were selling it for 5500... It is all a game... Demand vs Supply

Also, just because you are paying a lot for it doesn't mean, you are not going to get broken sensors, wrong ecu, cut harness, bad trannies... etc...

Therefore buy from someone you can trust but at the same time do not pay a lot for stuff you don't need...

IF you are planning to do the k20a swap on your EK, EG, EP3, RSX, DC2

you will need the motor, tranny, ecu, full harness, shifter cables

The axles are not necessary, the original mounts are useless....

Of course if you can get a good price on a k20a swap just with ecu for example, try to find used shifter cables and a used RSX harness...

ENGINE IMPORTERS, are importing them 2-3 at a time... They are still a new motor and you cannot go to Japan and try to get 10 of them at once... Trust me, I tried... They have to be located..

Don't understimate the k20a2 either... I keep hearing stories of people getting them for 2800-3000 in the USA from junk yards that do not know about the recent "hype"

where can i get used full harness and shifter cable?? how much do they usuall go for??

the engine, tranny, ecu, harness, and shifter cables are the only parts that i will actually use for the swap + k20eg kit??

what else will i need for a full running eg k20 swap??

the ctr and itr share the same motor, they're both k20a.. only main difference is a more restrictive header and a lighter flywheel on the ctr and i think slightly different ecu... nothing that you dont already have to replace anyways.. you need a aftermarket header one way or another and you're going to want hondata k-pro or atleast a flash. joe's engine came from a jdm ctr but its just the same as comming out of a itr.. same engine.
