i have a 95 civic dx coupe. currently i have everything to do the k swap but the motor and tranny. my goal is to run 12's with full interior with street tires. i can't decide what motor to get. i would like to get a k20a swap. would i be able to get at lest 12.9's on street tires with just the k20a i/h/e and a hondata flash? i would hate to spend all that money and not get to my goal when i could have just done something else. the reason i don't consider a k20a2 swap is i can get the k20a swap for 1500 more and it seems to be worth it for the lsd tranny and all the other stuff. any input on other setups i could do would be helpful, thanks.

you should be able to run 12's with either the A2 motor or the A. If the LSD higher compression and cams, etc.. is worth the extra money then go for it.
