I've read a few posts regarding the coating on these cranks some people say they should not be ground etc.

The main crank journals show a small amount of wear I'm assuming this is normal?

the Rod ends on 1 and 3 have the most wear and I think these would need to be polished out/machined if that is doable?

Have included pictures, hoping for some advice.



















Rod ends could this be residual bearing?

The mains look OK, the rod journals are shot. Either get a good used crank or have them reground to match oversized bearing shells.

you may give them a slight polish with polishing paste and a shoe string before final judgement.

thanks, I will make some calls this week to see about regrinding.
