Maybe you should know that most specs are not accurate for comparison because they are measured at different points or are misleading by purpose.

Picking cams based on specs is like having people buying DELL computers based on the motherboard socket number.. 99.99% of people have no clue what it means and what they need.

Yeah I see some take their duration spec a 1mm lift... So I don't include it with this spec (if Its indicated)

I'm not really try to make a choice but its more a cam database sheet I try to built...

But, you pick my curiosity... how we should choose a camshafts if we can base on spec....???

Maybe ask the mfg for the ideal setup for each profile.. Or look around for various engines using these cams on various dynos...

With variable cam timing on the intake side, things get complicated. High lift or big duration numbers mean nothing without proper valve motion geometry.

Another way would be to cam doctor all available cams and found out the true specs...but seriously.. noone is going to do that..

I do applaude your effort to get some data but there are more factors why I think it is a waste of time.. Companies with actual lower cams specs do not want their cams to appear smaller even thought they might better than "bigger" cams... It is retarded... but I understand the marketing reasoning behind it..

Who the hell is CAT cams? is this an abbreviation and im just not realizing who they are? I dont think I have ever heard of them until just reading the OP. googling:up:

edit: googled- for anyone else who has never heard of them...

Buddy Club got new N+ cam, IN 249(13.0mm) EX 256(12.5mm).

I do not know how to read cam profile.
Can someone tell me where does N+ cam falls on Toda spec cam?
A2,A3 or C.

Cat cams huh...never heard of them. I guess we will soon know about them as the street profiles can be used without valvetrain upgrade.
