The car:2004 Acura TSX 6spd black on black.
Owned: 5 years, and I have put 80K+ on.
Mods so far: My custom made short shifter, stainless brake lines, TL-S rear swaybar, custom intake box.

I have collected a bunch of parts over the years and they will finally start to make their way into the TSX soon. Lets just say z3 head, Tein SS, TL-S Brembos, Euro-R grill, A-Spec front lip, ported IM manifold, RDX valve cover, custom ecu etc... Its not going to be the usual balls out build that I see here, but it will be something that keeps me busy and happy.

This is how the car sits now at the paint shop.

Why did it go to the paint shop? Well I live in the north east, where the salt hates cars and ruins lives . There is rust starting to form under the doors and side skirt area. I freaked out and sent the whole car to get painted before the rust causes any damage. I love the car and I want to keep the car for a while. Maybe turn it into a weekend toy soon.

This is the short shifter I make for the Accord/TSX/TL crowd. You can find more info here http://www.tsxclub.com/forums/1st-g...-affordable-tsx-short-shifter.html#post755041

While the car was in the spray booth I went to visit Ryan at Autofair Honda yesterday (Its where I do my Christmas shopping :silly:). Nice to have Rich and Ryan 2 blocks away. Nice guys and always helpful .

My A-Spec front lip

New roof molding cause the old ones are in rough shape. The packaging on these was intense. Double boxed and insulated.

New clips for the roof molding

Made a mess of the counter LOL. Sorry Ryan!

I bet your tires wont wanna roll under themselves if you got some tires with a stiffer sidewall. what are those on your wheels right now?

Best all season tire! I really like them.

I think the UCA changed my toe angle so I need to hit the alignment shop again. I cant go until these get machined! They are keeping me from lowering my car. Custom Tein SS lower spring perch!! The ones they came with are a shame to society!

So they came with the washers?
Updates or ban
Ok, fine!

With my CAD drawing and a little help from a machinist, I made these spring seats. Took about 6 hours to finish all four of them.

A lot of material removed

Looking fresh!

Fit perfect!

Now the spring is positioned in the middle of the shock just how it's supposed to be.

This picture shows just how much of the spring was supported by the original TEIN seats/adjusters. to TEIN for trying to make all their kits fit one type of seat. Now all my springs seat correctly, and are positioned true to the center.

A little trick I have picked up. If you put a rubber washer uder the spring seat, the ride is much smoother. Thanks Home Depot!

All new hardware, tops hats, rubber seats etc. Autofair all the way!

All assembled.

The only pic I have of the install. I spent 6 hours drilling rusted bolts away :Ookay:, and I was too frustrated to take anymore.

Here is the car with the recommended tein settings. Its a little more than an 1" drop. The rear needs to go down another 1/4", but the front is perfect with about 2 fingers of gap before hitting the fender. This is as low as I will go. I am too old to go any lower! I dont want the car to look like a high schooler's civic.

Car rides great now and handles way better! I should have done this sooner!

I also got the Hondata adapter harness and a very hard to find 6spd 07-08 TSX ecu. Finally ready for FlashPro!!

Love the spring seats. I should get a set of those made. Ride height looks good.
Thanx! What are you running for suspension?
I have Tein Comfort Sports.
I have the CAD drawing, so if you want it I will send your way.
Almost the exact lowering of my Bilstein B12 Tuning Kit... (35mm F, 25mm R)
